Baccara Geva SA (Pty) Ltd was established in 2013 in South Africa as a subsidiary to our Head office Baccara Geva Israel and situated in Meadowdale in Johannesburg.
Our Team consists of Gadi Herling as one of the Directors and our Regional Manager based in Israel who visits often to South Africa offering 24/7 support with many years of extensive knowledge and expertise.
We have successfully adopted a distribution network for the industry with three major companies in the country and the partnership with these companies has been very successful. We also have a distribution network in the Water and Irrigation industry and are working to establish a larger product offering for the local market. We continuing our efforts and focus to deliver the sales goal we have set out for 2016 and well on our way to becoming one of the leading brands in South Africa.
Gadi graduated from Ruppin Academic Center, gaining a degree in Instrumentation & Control for computerized process control systems.
He joined Baccara in 1995, after working in the field of agriculture and industry for more than 25 years. His wide knowledge and experience in working with water filtration systems for both agricultural irrigation and industry has been invaluable, contributing to Baccara’s success in gaining access to new business areas over the years.
Gadi’s know-how and expertise in the field of Instrumentation & Control has enabled him to develop several customized solutions for customers, not only in South Africa, but worldwide.
Gadi is based in Baccara’s headquarters in Israel where he is also a senior Engineering Advisor, managing new product developments.
Theo Roothman was appointed the Sales Manager at Baccara-Geva South Africa in August 2016. He has more than 20 years’ experience in the process automation, instrumentation industry and has spent the last 10 years in sales and marketing serving all industry types like the mining, metal, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, water and waste water in South Africa.
He is a qualified Snr. Instrumentation Technician and has also completed his studies in process control technology and electrical engineering.
He is very well driven, a perfectionist, and totally committed to excellent customer service, “turn-key” solutions, adding value and growth to Baccara-Geva South Africa as a whole.
